COSMOS ORGANIC
Certified by Cosmécert Cosmécert is Cosmébio’s certification subsidiary. Created in 2017, it certifies organic and natural cosmetic products as well as raw ingredients.
An accredited certifier, Cosmécert certifies cosmetic products according to the Cosmos standard. As for Cosmos Organic, it is a label guaranteeing product production and processing methods that respect the environment and biodiversity.
The Cosmos standard guarantees the absence of petrochemicals in product compositions. It also sets minimum required levels of organic ingredients:
- minimum 95% ingredients of natural origin
- minimum 95% of all plant
-based ingredients are organically grown
- minimum 20% of all ingredients are of organic origin (10% for rinse-off products)

COSMOS APPROVED Monitored by Cosmécert
Cosmécert is Cosmébio’s certification subsidiary. Created in 2017, it certifies organic and natural cosmetic products as well as raw ingredients.
An accredited certifier, Cosmécert certifies raw ingredients according to the Cosmos standard. Cosmos Approved is a certification appearing on non-organic raw materials. However, the raw materials must be approved under the Cosmos standard.

Cosmos Certified is a label affixed to physically or chemically processed agro-ingredients with organic content.

Ecocert is a certifying body founded over 30 years ago. It is committed to organic agriculture, defending environmentally friendly production processes. An accredited certifier, Ecocert certifies cosmetic products according to the Cosmos standard.
The Ecocert Cosmos Organic certification guarantees product production and processing methods that respect the environment and biodiversity.
This certification requires the absence of petrochemicals in product compositions and sets minimum required levels of organic ingredients:

- minimum 95% of all plant-based ingredients are organically grown

This certification guarantees environmentally friendly production and processing methods as well as the use of ingredients of natural and organic origin in ecoproducts prohibiting the large majority of petrochemicals.
This label ensures:
- minimum 95% ingredients of natural origin
- minimum 10% ingredients of organic origin
